About 2 months ago, I wrote a Newsletter called “Revenge
of the Smart Pages”. If you didn’t read it, please take a few minutes a do so now – this newsletter will make more sense if you have a good context for it.
Okay, if you recall, Audrey and I were talking about Smart Page Technology, and how some internet marketers have used these little pages to vault themselves to the top of the free search engines.
Audrey and I put them to the test. We purchased Armand Morins’ Smart Page Generator, picked up some great, low cost hosting with Newwebsites, and went to work creating 40 different Smart Pages, each one focused on a keyword that we wanted to rank highly for with www.a2armory.com
Using our web stats program, we kept an eye on what search engine spiders crawled our smart page sites. Then, we saw the ever-friendly, if sometimes tardy Google Bot leave his tell-tale IP address – signifying that he had crawled our site.
We then waited for Google to Index our Smart Pages, and held our breath until what's known as the “Google Shuffle” was complete.
Finally, we went through the search engines to check the status of our Smart Page enabled site, checking all 40 of the keywords that we used for our Smart Pages.
